The long-awaited 666-bed super speciality block at Dr Ram Manohar Lohia (RML) Hospital has secured fire safety clearance, bringing the Rs 482-crore facility a step closer to becoming operational.
The 11-storey block will add 666 beds to the hospital’s existing capacity. It will house 18 operation theatres, 99 ICU beds, 196 HDU beds and three catheterisation laboratories, strengthening oncology and liver transplantation services.
